What is Project Diva?
Project DIVA is a 501c3 designed to instill life skills mentoring. Project DIVAS mentors share how having self-respect leads to making better choices through 'Let's Talk About It Sessions', financial literacy, focused writing, community service and key collaborations that help in preparing them to handle real life situations throughout high school and into adulthood.
Does it cost?
No. There is no cost to our young ladies! And...YES - Donations are Welcome!
Where is Project DIVA located?
Project DIVA is happily embraced by the staff at the Sumner Library, 611 Van Memorial Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55411.
Who are involved?
Peruse our DIVA Consultant page to learn more about the powerful women involved in guiding the young ladies of Project DIVA! All these ladies are partners in making Project DIVA a success. These DIVA Consultants are equipped to ensure program excellence.
What are Project DIVA Objectives?
Project DIVAS objectives are to mentor young ladies so that they make the best possible decisions regarding their careers and daily living situations as they transition through middle school into high school and then into adulthood through self-discovery sessions and entrepreneurial training.
Why haven't you become involved with Project DIVA?
Project DIVA is unique because our program deals with true-to-life situations. Unlike many other programs in the Twin Cities, Project DIVA focuses on each participant’s individual growth by keeping our number to 30 young ladies per year per chapter. Project DIVA supports young women where they are at in their life at the time they enroll through one-on-one and group mentoring.
So we are unsure as to why you are not involved either!!!
