This poem signifies the 'why' Project DIVA exists. 

Our deepest fear of inadequacy as women of color has kept us

 from enjoying life as Sista's for far too long.  The young ladies

 of Project DIVA (DIGNITY~INTEGRITY~VIRTUE~AVAILABLE)

are on a lifelong journey to discovering the true essence of the

'I AM' in themselves. 

As well, Our DIVA Consultants, Coaches, Volunteers and

Parents are  on a lifelong journey 

guiding and talking to our young ladies about the trials

and celebrations as we deal with life as the strong, real life

 DIVAS we are!

As you peruse our lives throughout ths website, take the time

to enjoy our young ladies...because we damn sure do!

There is something about having on the correct size bra that boosts ones self -esteem in an INSTANT!  As you can see our young ladies had a blast hanging out with each other and their DIVA Consultants as they found out their right size bra's and everyone enjoyed Ridgedale Mall!

Our Way 

Project Diva’s Fundamental Philosphy is to provide mentoring and education to increase self-esteem, self-worth and self-regulation of young young women, 13-19.  Organized in February 2008, Project DIVAS goal is to educate and mentor young ladies on how to maneuver trough dangerous cycles of 'teen pregnancy and sexually transmited diseases (STD's) while developing healthy habits of acadamia, emotional, social and fiscal responsibility.

Our Mission is our daily walk of life "Motivating one Young Lady at a Time.”
